Recto contains Caroline minuscule in right column from second half of the 11th century based on clubbed ascenders, ampersand, and ruling in lead (Germanic origin based on form of Et); in left column, an inexpert Gothic hand from the 13th century or later based on o-r form. Verso contains the same 11th-century hand in left column; in right column, a neater Gothic hand (13th century based on G, o-r ligature, curved S, and hooked h).
